About this speaker
Zach is the Director of Campus & Sports Ministry at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, California, where he has served since 2013. Prior to his current post, he worked for 3 years as a Youth Minister at a Catholic parish in Ventura, California. His training and education comes from Franciscan University of Steubenville where he majored in Theology. Zach grew up in Littleton, Colorado, where he attended Mass and Lifeteen at St. Francis Cabrini Church. Though his family had been away from the faith previously, he became increasingly more captivated by the person of Jesus Christ through Confirmation, retreats, and his youth leaders. It is these experiences that he takes into his current ministry to Orange County high school students and athletes in the Trinity League, known for being the toughest high school league in America. Aside from his ministry work at JSerra, Zach is a frequent presenter at local parishes, Lifeteen summer camp, and the Duc In Altum High School Formation Summit. He and his wife, Sarah, welcomed their first baby, John, who was born on May 18, 2019, the birthday of Pope St. John Paul II.
